HCSA 20th Anniversary Charity Gala

HCSA Community Services celebrated its 20th Anniversary on a night teeming with Hope.

Upon arriving, the guests were encouraged to pen down “Messages of Hope” to our beneficiaries, all of which were framed and displayed. They then took a walk down memory lane, hearing about the high hopes both the founders of Highpoint and Dayspring had in the beginning and their deep compassion for those they served. Little did they know their hard work would now become a reality. We then took a moment to honour these founders, Pastor Timothy Das, who was present with us; and Alice Heng (who had passed away one year after Dayspring was formed) was remembered with her photo on the screen. HCSA also honoured Dr Cheong Choong Kong, our Guest of Honour, for being the first advisor in our Board.

The guests were treated to the talents of Nikki Müller, Irene Ang and Ms Jacintha Abisheganaden. Ms Jacintha even coached and sang a duet with a Dayspring resident.

We are grateful for those who have given generously and for the 470 friends who showed up to support and encourage us. It was befitting to end the evening with the song ‘10,000 Reasons’ to thank God for what he has done the past 20 years.
