HCSA Academy Culinary Training Centre, the latest programme by HCSA Community Services, was officially opened by Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, Member of Parliament, Jalan Besar GRC, on 8 may.
The Academy offers a six-week WSQ-certified culinary programme designed to give trainees industry-relevant working experience in professional kitchens. As part of HCSA’s “Smart Village” digitalisation initiative, the trainees are encouraged to learn creatively and optimally through state-of-the-art equipment and e-learning opportunities like online course and Augmented Reality (AR).
Upon graduation, trainees will receive the highly coveted WSQ Higher Certificate in Food Services (Culinary Arts) and be assisted with job placements in F&B organisations.
