SUPPORTING THE VULNERABLE AMID COVID-19

Over the past couple of months, HCSA has had the privilege to work with many partners and sponsors to support our beneficiaries during the circuit breaker. We would like express our most heartfelt gratitude for these sponsorships which have, without a doubt, brightened the lives of our beneficiaries amidst the circuit breaker blues.

We would first like to thank Advo Asia, Creamier, Deutsche Bank, Food Bank Singapore, The Halia, Octava Foundation and SCORE for their sponsorship of a variety of scrumptious food for all our beneficiaries.

We are also very grateful to Acting Out, Barclays, Beautiful People, Heritage Cares, REACH Community Services and Tinkle Arts for bringing the fun and excitement to our girls at Dayspring Residential Treatment Centre through the virtual activities conducted.

Not forgetting Luminous Dental Group and National Heritage Board for providing dental products and care packs respectively.

E&S Blessing provided resource kits for the children of our beneficiaries from SPIN and collaborated with Siemens to digitalise the activity booklets they prepared.

TOUCH Community Services provided laptops for our beneficiaries and we also had student volunteers from Singapore Management University to install refurbished laptops at our beneficiaries’ homes and conduct tuition through ZOOM for the young ones.

Last but definitely not the least, we are filled with gratitude to all the individuals who have ever so kindly stepped forward to donate or sponsor a variety of meals, snacks, personally baked goods, masks and other valuable resources for our beneficiaries.

While the circuit breaker was a trying time for the vulnerable populations we serve, the generosity and support from our partners, sponsors and donors definitely made a difference in helping our beneficiaries to cope!
